About Me
Why travel blog? Am I that well traveled? For me, travel blogging I a great way to document memories and keep a living history of my trips. So that I have something to look back upon especially when time comes that I am too old to travel. Another reason that keeps me from blogging is is to share my stories with other people and to help inspire them to travel and enjoy life.
Apart from traveling/backpacking, he also enjoys photography, mountain climbing, trail running, marathon, rock climbing, spelunking and other adventure/adrenaline-pumping activities. To date, he has ran full marathon (42KM), summited several mountains in Luzin, Visayas and Mindanao and the recent one was Mt. Kanlaon. He considered himself as a newbie in spelunking and rock climbing. Recently, he started to fell in love with the beach, but still he tries to learn swimming to explore the world underwater.
He was born and raised in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. He graduated from University of San Carlos and received his Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 2008. On the same year, he took and passed nursing board exam.
His previous employment includes working as an ESL Instructor, Call Center Agent, Medical Transcriptionist, Link-builder/SEO and a Nurse Volunteer. To date, he is doing freelance job, but most of his income comes from blogging.
Unlike those working in corporate world who is expecting to receive a hefty pay checks per month, My Nomadic Habit's income is unstable (expected if doing freelance job), so to finance his travels, he accepts invitations for a commercial shoots such as prenuptials, weddings, birthdays or any events that needs to get documented.
